This amazing wall hanging was done by Tina Hambuch in 2005 and posted by John to our 24 Blocks Facebook page just recently. It is of their home in Florida and uses both quilting and applique. Two of our readers have seen it in person and left comments that the detail is amazing. We can tell that by the grass and flowers in the foreground and the leaves on the trees…even the birdhouse! Thanks, John, for sharing Tina’s work with us!
We simply love this wall hanging. Barbara Hoffman writes “El Cafe Ole–wall quilt entered into my guild’s Coffee and Curves challenge. Completed 2-7-13.” Notice how the steam from the coffee is represented and the graceful arms of the dancer! Thank you, Barbara. Your guild certainly had a good theme!
Jean Weston simply writes that this is the “mystery quilt” she just finished. It’s vibrant! Thanks, Jean, for your post. We love the colors and feel of celebration.
Bruce Totty posted both the front and back views of this wonderful quilted jacket. He writes “Crossroads jacket pattern. Not for the faint of heart.”. We love it and appreciate the model showing it off so well. Thank you for sharing it with us. The flow of color and the interesting design on the sleeves make it unique.
