The energy in this work of art is amazing. Quilter Cindy Holman shared it with our 24 Blocks Facebook community. She used batik scraps for her New York Beauty blocks. Thanks, Cindy, for your post. We all love it!
Isn’t this beautiful! It’s so filled with a kind of Spring happiness. Karen Mitchell created it. She writes: “I used a pattern from “Piece O’ Cake Designs” to make this one, which I call “Spring Fling from Mama’s Garden”. I inherited my Mother’s sizable stash when she passed away 22 years ago. I used her fabrics almost exclusively in this one, which is all hand-appliqued.” Thanks, Karen, for sharing this beauty with us. You’ve given us ideas!
This is a happy quilt! We love the bright colors and the clarity. It was posted by Patsy Cosby. Thanks so much, Patsy.
It’s always nice to see works of art done in collaboration between quilters. This top was just completed yesterday by Faye Bushey from a design created by a good friend who will do the final quilting. The completed quilt will then go to Connecticut as a gift for a cousin. Our 24 Blocks members have enjoyed this post. We all love it. Thanks Faye for sharing it with us and for the credit you gave your friend.
