Carolyn Power just simply posted: “Douglas made me this quilt and I will love it forever!” The fabric choices are wonderful. Thank you, Carolyn, for sharing it with our quilting community!
This is such a happy and vibrant quilt. It was made by Shelly Hoffman who writes that it was her first attempt at machine applique. It’s for her baby granddaughter who has a Beatles inspired room. So cute!
Jayme Lucas‘s “Lady Tulip Fingers” is hand pieced and hand quilted. It’s wonderful in yellow and teal! Great work, Jayme!
Monet would love the colors Sharon Mason used in her beautiful quilt and our readers always appreciate posts that include the pattern name and construction details. Sharon does that perfectly,
“Lovethe fabrics in this quilt I finished last night. The fabrics are Moda’s”Marmalade” and the pattern is from Keepsake Quilting – “Field Greens.”And the little window in the fence, down low and on the right, is for my Yorkies, so they can see out front, and bark at passers-by!“
Thanks, Sharon, for sharing all your good work and good ideas with everyone at 24 Blocks!
Naomi Cox’s “Sunbonnet Sue” has been popular with our readers. That bright pink makes it “pop” against the white background and the floral fabric is fashionable. It is all done by hand and is a beauty!
Thank you all for sharing your works of art. It’s an inspiration!
