More Halloween

We hope you enjoyed this morning’s highlights of some of the Halloween quilts that have recently been posted by our readers. Here are some more…just to give you some ideas of how to bring more pumpkins, cats, bats and ghouly ghosties to next Fall’s All Hallows Eve….or at least some pumpkins to an October birthday!

Margie Hass made this adorable and happy wall-hanging for her daughter-in-law’s October birthday. We all just know that pumpkins love a fall, starry night. The color and fabric are so deep and rich in this quilt!

Suzanne Gibson made this fall quilt for her grandchildren to see on the front door. Isn’t it a great way to say “Welcome” to children? Notice her Peanuts characters including the Pumpkin and Snoopy. And note the chicken at the very bottom next to the barn. It’s just very creative.

Jayne Turner made placemats for her niece. They are reversable. Jayne’s stitching in the ditch created a spider web motif on the back. They are so cute to have for a Halloween’s festivities.

So, as the evenings get chillier, the night’s longer and there are still pumpkins for pies we can think of some projects to quilt a bit of the late fall’s traditions into our own fabrics.

Thanks to everyone who has shared their work with 24 Blocks. Remember, tomorrow is Caterday.
