We hope the quilts inspire those who are new to quilting and, also for experienced hands, trying something new. As we all know, it’s the meaning a quilt carrys that has the value…

“Ijust finished an Orion Star patriotic quilt top. I ran into some bumps along the way but managed to work through them. It was a fun quilt pattern. I’m still learning this craft, each quilt is a new lesson learned.” — Kathy Thayer

“Iwas so inspired by all of the tie quilts posted on 24 Blocks! I only had 6 ties to work with but, I created this lap quilt. Btw, silk ties are not easy to quilt with!! They have a mind of their own!! Hence, the wavy border. I gave up trying to get straight lines and I think it turned out kind of cool in the end.” and ” My mother-in-law received it in the mail today and she was delighted with it. Definitely a feel good moment… Btw, this quilt is aptly named ‘Captain Wagner’.Tracy Wagner

Thanks to all of you and we wish everyone a very good evening this Independence Day!
