While here in the US we always celebrate Independence Day with lots of red, white and blue, we quilters know that it takes some planning ahead to get a quilt made for a holiday. We love, too, how many of our readers make quilts for the families of service members and for charities.
So, for your morning inspiration, here are some quilted works in…red…white…and blue. We hope they give you some ideas for projects of your own. Besides, we get to admire Barbara’s breathtaking headboard!
from: Barbara Gibson: “A little 18 X 18 wall hanging….just the thing to go with my bedspread :>)) No pattern available.”
from: Mary Kendrick Adwell Lewey: “Just finished and donating to Quilts of Valor Alabama Chapter.”
from: Jackie Walker Jarvis: “I made this to commemorate our 30 year friendship with our best friends. I did it in red, white, and blues because the guys were in the Navy when we met.”
