Baby quilts are always a delight to see and to make. Many of us in the 24 Blocks quilting community on Facebook love to make baby quilts for gifts. It’s been a real joy to see the great variety that our readers have shared. Here’s just a few for your Friday morning inspiration…
Isn’t this exquisite! Notice the beautiful quilting, the small pieces on the Dresden Plates, the pink border on the Sunbonnet Sue blocks and the vibrant applique stitching. It was made by Catherine Pascoe who also posted another beautiful one with embroidery. Thank you, Catherine, for sharing your work with 24 Blocks.
Beverly Stone made this baby quilt for their new great-granddaughter. And yes, there are kitty cats and pandas and teddy bears in the fabric. We love the balance between the nine-patches and the striped border.
Susan Pitts made this very darling quilt for a friend at her church. It’s a happy quilt, sure to delight a toddler and any new mother. Duckies just make everyone smile…as do pinwheels!
Thanks to everyone who has shared their work with our quilting community at 24 Blocks. Babies being born can keep us all busy! We wrap them in warmth and color.
