Tonight we’re just showing some baby quilts that have been shared with us by our readers. All of them have a simple or a traditional look…the kind of quilts that mothers and grandmothers have been making and giving for decades. We hope you enjoy them.
“Made for a new Granddaughter. Old 30’s prints.” — Suzy Jasper
“The quilt I made for my first granddaughter Penelope.” — LuAnne Kuelzer
“Close up of baby quilt for a client.” — JoyJoy Anderson
And we all know that dolls need quilts, too…
L&R Designs Quilting posted several photos of dolls quilts she recently made and wrapped up for children in her family. This is one. She writes, “Fabric sample squares with flannel backing, no batting, used pillow cased method to finish.”
Thanks to everyone who has shared their quilts and quiting projects with our community at 24 Blocks. We’ll follow this post up with some more vibrant and non-traditional baby quilts. There’s just so much potential for creativity!
