There are just so many lovely quilts that have been posted by our readers! Here are a few more for your enjoyment and inspiration…
Ellen Carter made this beautiful and very meaningful Fire Department Patch Quilt for her grandson. It’s just so amazing to see the insignia and patches of so many departments. All of us who love and honor fire fighters see this as a treasure. Thank you, Ellen, for sharing it with 24 Blocks.
Barb Clark has used a simple 9-patch with a diagonal emphasis to create a bright and cheerful baby quilt. A beauty such as this shows how important color and layout can be.
Whilemany of the traditional Dresden Plate quilts used material from treasured clothing or from flour sacks or from the quilter’s own multi-colored “stash”, we all can be very impressed by Kim Putnam’swork in blue and white. It has a clean, crisp look, like the great blue and white willow transferware dishes of antique fame. Thank you, Kim, for your post so we all can see it. The thin sashing just really sets it off, too. Beautiful!
Thanks to everyone who has posted on 24 Blocks! Quilting is good for Mondays!
