from: Julie Charley Lofurno: “I just joined this group and am really enjoying looking at the beautiful creations. Lots of inspiration here! Here is a picture of a quilt I made about two years ago for my daughter-in-law. I had not made a large quilt for many years when she said one day, “I’ve always wanted a quilt”. The one she chose is a romantic design called “Elizabeth” by Carrie L. Nelson from “Miss Rosie’s Splice of Life Quilts” and she picked out all 20 fabrics and helped me lay the blocks before I assembled the top. I hand-quilted it with simple horizontal and vertical lines.”
from: April Blood: “My husband designed and made this Boston Bruins quilt and designed some of the fabric. He has been quilting about a year”
