Featured Member Quilts: March 12

Good Morning! It’s so nice to wake up and check in at 24 Blocks and see so many beautiful quilts. Some of them just seem to glow! It must be that magic of adding a bit of yellow. Here are a few we’ve selected to feature this morning….

from Lisa White: “Mystery quilt, instructions from my local shop.”

from Linda Boudreaux:I made this 60″ x 60″ quilt in 2011 after not quilting much in recent years. I wanted to learn to applique and needed practice with small piecing. This was a great learning experience. It was intimidating at first but I persisted and finished it. The pattern was in Australian Country Threads magazine. Designed by Colleen Archbold.

Linda’s work is exquisite! We love how she has given a traditional appliqued basket a country feel by her choice of fabrics.

from Betsy Carlson: “One of my favorites.”

Thanks to Betsy, Linda, Lisa and everyone else for sharing their work with us all at 24 Blocks. Just as these quilts have a glow about them, so can we!
