from: Urn Garden: “This cathedral windows quilt was a wedding gift from my grandmother (RIP). Since the kids and pets are gone, I brought it out of storage after 25 years and marveled at the workmanship. I don’t know much about quilting, but the pattern looks so complex and when I turned it over to look at the back side, it brought tears to my eyes. I was a kid when she gave this to me and had no idea about the commitment it took to complete this project. This was made for a king bed and I wonder how long it took to create. What a beautiful gift.”
from: Pat Reaid Sisler: “Shadow Daisy. I try to make at least 1. 30s repo quilt a year. This quilt has been in the making for almost 20 years. I did have it professionally quilted by Brenda Stump. My long arm skills will never be up to this standard!”
from: Norah Rose: “I don’t remember if I sent this or not. A small (12 by 18 inches) art quilt. Just a quickie.”
