June 26 – Today’s Featured Quilts

from: Christine Woodring: “My girlfriend has become a new grandmother with the arrival of a grandson (her son and daughter in law) and granddaughter (her daughter) within 6 weeks. So wonderful! Here is the quilt for new baby Flynn.”

from: Kathleen Castillo: “Most of my fellow quilters know I’m doing the BOM this year in Civil War reproduction fabrics. I was given this top about 10 years ago. While looking at it this morning I’m wondering if this top could contain some original fabrics from that era. The blues are indigo, and the reds are the classic turkey red. Looks as if the blocks were made, and then later the background was added. It is hand stitched, and pieced not appliqued. Any opinions would be appreciated.”

from: Claudia Graham: “Not your traditional Sunbonnet Sue for a change but an awful lot of fun.”

from: Jennifer Capwell: “Quilt I made for my great grandsons birthday in March”
