from: Eula Marie Ward: “my scraps strings quilts blocks vest. made by me in 2005. I always get compliment when I wear it, which I did to Wal-Mart this morning and got 2 compliments. Always make my day”
from: Linda Deis: “This is another mystery quilt I made several years ago. The pieced top lay in my stack of “to be quilted”. I finally got around to quilting it before Xmas. I don’t have the pattern. I purchased the taupe fabric then needed something to brighten it up. Orange did the trick.”
from: Barbara Gibson: “This little cutie is on Quiltmaker’s Block Network – a tutorial on partial seams. It makes a 12 1/2 inch block (unfinished). I like mug rugs this size…..but it would be gorgeous as a quilt or a table runner. Having done this one, I would stick to bold colors, though, the pastel doesn’t have enough contrast against the others :>))”
from: Robin Malcolm: “I just found you and I’m so happy! I’ve been sewing for 25 years, but just started learning traditional quilting. I’m loving the idea of incorporating traditional techniques with a current flair! I hope you indulge me a little boast with this photo of a baby gift I made this weekend for a friend! I’m pretty proud of the outcome!”
