from: Mina Hartshorn: “I call this my “Scrappy Puppy” quilt as no square is the same. For interest I have made the ears of the pups out of fuzzy fabric. The back is also fuzzy, almost a minky fabric. It is red. The faces are embroidered and I have hand quilted hair and whiskers in red. The white (reverse pattern) puppy faces have quilted faces with eyes close (sleeping puppies) The edge is the leftover pieces from the puppy squares. I saw a post with the 9 square puppy pattern on your website a while back and adapted it to hopefully please our new great grandson.”
