May 10 – Today’s Featured Quilts

from: Rebecca Garner Duren: “This is a quilt top I just finished using my stash…from a Thimbleberry BOM I did in 1998!”

from: Lisa Vanderbilt DeVol: “I made this for a friend and coworker who is a thyroid cancer survivor. I am a Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor and “survivor quilts” are very important to me. Here in Ohio, the James Stitching Sisters make quilts for breast cancer patients at The James Cancer Hospital, but I feel that ALL cancer survivors deserve a quilt. I’m doing what I can for the special people in my life.”

from: Maureen Jacobs: “I have just finished this quilt for my grandson who plays the guitar (for his birthday) Lots of fun to do, well pleased with this. On to the next project.”

from: Virginia Trent: “This is a lone star I made for my daughter.”
