May 15 – Today’s Featured Quilts

from: Linda Deis: “My guild’s president’s challenge this past year was to incorporate a rainbow in plain sight. In actuality my rainbow is the center circle. BTW I called this, “There Will Be No More Talk About Yoyos”.”

from: Enid Figueroa: “This is for the Sunbonnet Sue lovers. The dolls was made by the grandmother of a friend of mine that made a quilt for my friend when she was almost 10 years. The dolls are partially applique, partially embroidery. I cut out the dolls and applique by hand in a new muslin square. The quilt was for my grandaughter that born 6 years ago. Years later I found in a book that the name of the pattern is Dorothy flower girl.”

from: Darlene Burns: “Made this in 2009. I got the little Sunbonnet Sue girl pattern from a quilting guild and added the sashing, etc. In quilting I like to applique the best. 11-17-13”

from: Gail Zamarron: “My attempt a FMQ. Full pic.”
