This is our second post for the day featuring quilts in red, white and blue. With Memorial Day and Independence Day coming up, it’s a good time to look at some of the quilted art done by our community members using the traditional colors and motifs. We’ll feature more in the future.
Thanks go to Judy, Maria, Alicia and everyone else who has shared their work with all of us.
from: Alicia Adams DeBello: “Alicia of AD Designs Quilting & Quilt Patterns again, with USA quilt pattern. This quilt is nice for summer, if it ever gets here? The Alphabet Soup quilts are throw size.”
from: Maria McGhee: “I just love it when a piece of fabric inspires me. The red and white fabric was perfect for a table runner with applique stars on the ends. I finished the stars with a blanket stitch and little star buttons in the centers. Perfect for a family gathering.”
from: Judy Marchand: “QOV for my husband and 30 yrs of service .”
