Quilted Memories: February 22

Good Morning from 24 Blocks! We had bad storms last night but the sun is breaking through now. It’s always a great feeling to start the day looking at the wonderful quilts that members of our community have recently posted.

Here are are few memory quilts that show the variety of ways we can celebrate memories through quilting. All the techniques and approaches are different. We hope they give you some ideas about how you could do something similar.

from: LaMona Northey Ellis: “THINK SPRING Memory Wall Quilt. I just finished this and giving it as a gift.”

from: Judy Bro Kline: “I made this quilt for a Memory Support home. Each square represents a different memory from a resident. It was a year plus project with the residents and now hangs in their home.”

from: Charlotte Timmons: “Buster: A Heartbeat at my feet. He is no longer with us, but he was so photogenic and made a good subject for a “Portrait” quilt.”

And, now, go out and make memories!
