Good Morning. We love the tradition of giving a quilt as a gift to a new couple. While the Double Wedding Ring has been the traditional favorite pattern there are many others that are popular including motifs based on Log Cabin, on houses or cabins, on trees representing the family. Small wall hangings have often used, too, in barn or country receptions. We see no reason why contemporary wall-hangings couldn’t be used to decorate a hall or serve as outdoor banners in an urban wedding.
But, however the use, a quilt as a wedding gift is one of art, of time spent thinking about the couple and their families as the fabric is cut and stitched and quilted, of good wishes.
Here are some that have recently been posted by our readers Caryn, Susan, Tori and Anita. Our thanks go to them for sharing their work and to everyone else. We’ll feature more soon…. Wedding season is coming.

We love Caryn’s quilt…and this pattern! Black, grey and white aren’t typical colors for wedding quilts, it has a very modern, elegant and crisp feel to it.
